The School has supported this annual event for many years. During a "Mufti" week, students make a donation to Children in Need and are allowed to wear anything non-uniform in class. Although not compulsory, most join in the fun turning up as witches, pirates etc. The wearer(s) of the best costume(s) are given a Pudsey Bear by the School.
We organise a "Mufti" week during which our normal strict uniform requirements are relaxed - students can wear anything they like to their dance classes providing they put money in the pot for Pudsey - there have been many wonderful ideas from a class full of St Trinians girls to a bunch of grapes!!
"Mufti" Week 2009 was from Monday 9th November 2009, during which time we raised a total of £580 - well done to everyone who joined in the fun. Mufti week this year ran from Monday 8th November.
Thank you for your enthusiastic support of Mufti-Week 2010 which saw students dressed up as fairies, witches, Snow Whites, Arabian dancers, naughty school girls, comic book characters, ballerinas, waitresses, fireworks - the list (and your imagination) is endless. Congratulations to the winners of the Pudsey Bears: Elliott Bryenton, Amy Butler, Alice Cole, Lara Elliott, Lois Gardner, Bart Lambert, Elizabeth Marriott, Marion Pettet, Nick Sadowsky, Imogen Sales, Michael Smith and Eleanor Sumner. A total of £480 was raised for Children In Need.
